Suzy Fasht is a painter and art tutor. She was born in London and studied at the Royal Academy Schools and Wimbledon School of Art. She has lived in South Devon for many years where she paints and teaches part-time. She was elected an Associate member of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2018 which is based at Bankside Gallery, London. She is fully qualified to teach in the Lifelong Learning sector and runs local painting classes. Her paintings are a response to the nearby moor, forest and garden with its changing seasons and produce. Working from both observation and intuition, her preferred mediums are watercolour, oil, and egg tempera. She is a former pupil of Norman Adams RA, Timothy Hyman and Prunella Clough. She has exhibited in London, Devon and Cornwall including at the Royal Academy Summer exhibitions and was recently shortlisted for the Lynn Painter Stainers prize.
