Our services
Working at its main site at Ivybridge, about 11 miles from Plymouth – Dame Hannahs provides learning, care, support and fun for adults with a range of disabilities, including: Hannahwood – an innovative transition project for young adults - therapies and supported activities. Our holistic approach offers professional support from our therapists, educationalists, expert medical staff and a care team.
#STOPthePressure
To raise awareness of #STOPthePressure day, Dame Hannah’s wrote a poem called "Under Pressure" and created this amazing video, which was submitted to the community Tissue Viability Team’s, Pressure Damage Prevention poem competition.I am pleased to say that we won! Congratulation and a big thank you to all those involved.

Hannah announces her Engagement
Hannah announced some very happy news recently. She has become engaged to Tim and they are moving into their own home together.
November News
Despite the days getting shorter we have all been keeping busy with indoor activities as well as wrapping up warm to go outside on trips and walks. We have celebrated Halloween and birthdays and our fundraising team have been out in the community.

Welcome to our new look newsletter. We have moved on to a new system and hope that you continue to enjoy our monthly news updates. As always our adults have been having a busy time with a variety of activities and outings.
Autumn Lunch raises over £1200 for Dame Hannahs
The annual Dame Hannahs Autumn Lunch at the Elfordleigh Hotel last week raised a wonderful £1230 for the charity. Nearly 100 guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and a very entertaining talk about the life of a farmer’s wife by Sue Martin.
September News
This month we have had fun dressing up and playing games as well as enjoying the last of the summer sunshine. Our adults have been out and about on trips and attending college. Meanwhile our fundraisers have been busy baking and selling cakes.
There are currently no Events being held.
Salary: £12.10 per hour upon successful completion of probation period
Hours: 25 hrs to 40hrs (waking)
Clinical Support Assistant (Nights)
Salary: £13.80 per hour (increasing to £14.40 ph in April)
Hours: 20-40 hrs per week
