Our services
Working at its main site at Ivybridge, about 11 miles from Plymouth – Dame Hannahs provides learning, care, support and fun for adults with a range of disabilities, including: Hannahwood – an innovative transition project for young adults - therapies and supported activities. Our holistic approach offers professional support from our therapists, educationalists, expert medical staff and a care team.
#STOPthePressure
To raise awareness of #STOPthePressure day, Dame Hannah’s wrote a poem called "Under Pressure" and created this amazing video, which was submitted to the community Tissue Viability Team’s, Pressure Damage Prevention poem competition.I am pleased to say that we won! Congratulation and a big thank you to all those involved.

Our young adults have had a really busy and fun month with lots of outings and celebrations. We are also delighted and grateful to have so many fundraising activities and events coming up.

This month our fundraising team have had a busy and successful time in the local community and there are some exciting fundraising challenges and events coming up. We have had some adorable visitors and there have been some fun celebrations and outings.
Thank You Tesco Customers
Thank you to all our supporters and customers who came to see us at Tesco Lee Mill recently and generously donated to our bucket collection. Our young adults really enjoyed helping out and we raised a wonderful £180!

We have had a very exciting month with the opening of our new shop in South Brent and our very popular Cream Tea fundraising event. Our young adults have been making the most of the sunshine with a variety of activities and have celebrated birthdays.
Cream Tea Event is big fundraiser for Dame Hannahs
Dame Hannahs hosted their annual Cream Tea fundraiser at their site in Ivybridge recently. This event proved as popular as ever and raised a wonderful £993 for the charity.
Yealmpton Agricultural Show
Dame Hannahs supporters will have a wide selection of home made treats for you to buy and take home or eat while walking the show ground.
Worn but Wonderful Fashion Show
Bring along your friends and family to this Fashion Show of preloved clothes organised in conjunction with South Brent Women Together
Kingsbridge Agricultural Show
Visit our Dame Hannahs Refreshment Marquee while attending the show to relax with a drink and delicious lunchtime treat or a snack when you need to rest your feet from stomping the show ground. We can't wait to meet you!
Autumn Lunch
There will be a selection of stalls which can be perused from 11am making it an ideal time to pick up a few Christmas Treats or a treat for yourself.
Christmas Fayre
Come and join us at our Christmas Fayre where there will be a wide variety of stalls selling wonderful gifts and treats. Delicious food and refreshments will be available all day. It will be a great way to start the festive season!
