THE ROLE & SKILLS NEEDED:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly multi-disciplinary team of professionals in developing and maintaining the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy for The Trust. You will have experience of working with individuals with complex health needs and physical disabilities.
You will be required to work closely with the Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and other professionals, to ensure that the holistic needs of the people we support are met and evidenced in line with best practice. You will assist the Therapies team in direct patient care, specifically the completion of allocated treatment programmes.
You will be responsible for non-professional duties in the provision of Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy services within a designated clinical team. You will have excellent communication skills and have a person centred approach.
HOURS OF WORK
Permanent - Full-time 37 hours a week
PAY: £20,048.16 (£10.42 per hour probation rate) - £21,164.04 (£11.00 per hour after probation)
